BE Electrical Engineering is the branch of Engineering which deals with the technology of Electricity is a four year, eight Semester undergraduate course of Tribhuvan University. It is a 4 years degree provided to the students who desire to graduate in this area.This program also deals with the power electronics, digital system and signal processing. The department of B.E.E. comprises some other divisions as well. Students have their own preference to join a particular division and continue with the same. Some students focus on the study of electronic components while others prefer to study transmission and strain of electrical power. This program also allows the students to have the knowledge of the application of these compounds in the other areas such as medicine, ecology, biology and geology.

In the context of Nepal, there are lots of hydropower stations which are ongoing projects of Nepal. So, the demand for electrical engineers is high. Only electrical engineers can design, develop and innovate new electrical equipment by using their engineering skills in the research, design, testing and development. An electrical engineer is a specialized and highly skilled type of engineer who deals with electronics, electro-magnetism and electric energy.
